Nation Wide:

 ü      National, non-profit organization of over 104 member Boys and Girls Clubs, 6 regional offices and a national office.

ü      Over 152,831 children and youth served annually in community-based clubs nationwide. More than 21,000 young people served each day.

ü      Boys and Girls Clubs provide services to more than 62,756 Canadian families.

ü      Boys and Girls Clubs operate in 595 communities and neighborhoods across Canada, and are found in every major Canadian city.

ü      No child is ever turned away because of inability to pay membership fees.

ü      14,294 community volunteers contribute over 521,689 hours of their time annually to the service of youth, through direct community-based program leadership. Over 35% of volunteers are youth.

ü      Over 1004 full-time professional staff and more than 1,898 part-time staff employed.

All Local Boys and Girls Clubs:

 ü      Are private, non-profit agencies with policy set by an autonomous voluntary board comprised of local residents.

ü      Provide a specialized program structure to meet the needs of each community.

ü      Are managed by an executive director, assisted by full and part-time career professionals in youth work and community volunteers.
